Urologist David Samadi Hosts New Medical TV show

     Dr. David Samadi hosts a medical information show on Sundays at 12:30 p.m on the Fox News network. Sunday House Call keeps viewers informed of medical information through stories and health issues, as well as giving people tips to ensure they lead longer and healthier lives. The new medical program can be simulcast on Twitter and Facebook. Each week, Dr. Samadi will have specialists from various areas of the medical field. Samadi hopes he can get better connected with the viewing public and educate them about their personal medical issues.

Dr. David B Samnadi was born in Iran in 1964, the oldest of two boys , as a Persian Jew. At the breakout of the Iranian Revolution, Samadi,15, and his younger brother, Dan, fled to London and eventually to the United States where he completed his high school education in Roslyn, New York. The rest of the family was separated, and their little sister, Heidi, who was 5, remained with her parents in Iran because the government would not allow the rest of the family to leave.

After high school David Samadi attended Stony Brook University, earning his degree in biochemistry. Samadi obtained his medical degree from Stony Brook Medical school and worked on his post graduate training in urology at Montefiore Medical Center. He did his proctology training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1996.

Dr. David B Samadi is a urologist, chief of robotics surgery at New York city’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Samadi specializes in such urologic diseases pertaining to kidneys, prostate, and bladder cancers. Samadi is dedicated to finding prostate cancer in its earliest stage to insure that patients have a better prognosis and a better chance of being cured. He is considered to be one of the most prominent surgeons in the field of urology. Dr. Samadi is a member of both the American Urology Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Smadi is highly trained in the use of robotic surgery that uses little invasive surgery to remove cancerous organs such as the prostate. He is known to have used robotic surgical techniques on celebrities, including tennis pro Roy Emerson who believes that the da Vinci system was the best way to have a prostatectomy.

David Samdi is married to Sahar Danielpour. They are the parents of a beautiful daughter and a handsome son. The family resides in Old Westbury, New York.
