Philanthropists are, however, not ready to watch this become the norm of the nation. As a result, many humanitarians groups have been formed. Here are some of the most proactive organizations in the advocacy of human, civil and migrant rights;

The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund

The Frontera Fund offers financial support to humanitarian groups of Arizona that share the same quest as the foundation. The Frontera Fund fights to see that the immigrants’ rights are observed. The organization also aims at seeing that every member of the community enjoys the freedom of expression.

The Frontera Fund was founded by the two journalists, Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey. The duo is known for their bravery in fighting legal battles. Fortunately, they have succeeded in many.

The Frontera Fund was formed with the apprehension compensation Lacey, and Larkin received from the sheriff’s case. After publishing his evil deeds, the sheriff arrested them and drove them to a secret location. The judge considered this unlawful and they, therefore, received a $3.75million settlement, which they used to initiate the Frontera Fund.

Arizona Project Justice

They are incarcerated individuals who are denied justice. It is worthwhile to note that the inmates are still citizens of the nation and are entitled to justice. The mission of the Arizona Project Justice is to ensure that the inmates enjoy justice.

For instance, they help the convicts who claim to be innocent. Such detainees may have ended up in jail as a result of lack of legal representation. They also assist convicts who require special medical attention.

The Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund

The DREDF fights to see that the rights of the disabled citizens are advanced and observed. The community only offers these individuals pity, which is far from what they need. The DREDF, therefore, wants to ensure the disabled get opportunities to better their life, like other citizens.

The DREDF also empowers the individuals by enlightening them on their rights.
