Lacey and Larkin condemn Arpaio’s pardon by President Trump

One of the people in the history of the United States who have ever committed so many actions which amounted to human rights violation is Joe Arpaio. Joe was the Sheriff of Maricopa County for the last 24 years. In his tenure in office, he oversaw some of the worst actions that have ever been taken against immigrants in the United States. Joe was the law himself. He did whatever he wanted and pushed people in the manner he felt like. Some of the things he did to the immigrant community deserve to be condemned by all terms possible.

No single person should ever be allowed to do the things that were committed by Joe Arpaio. He was one person who made actions that will remain vivid in the history of many immigrants in the United States.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio had committed many things which amounted to violations of human rights. He used to take immigrants who were living in the country without the necessary documentation through hell.

Under his leadership in the county of Maricopa, anyone who was found staying in the county without the requisite papers was put in jails which had the most unbearable conditions ever. Joe Arpaio would even make his jails where he would keep people who found to be living in the county illegally.

For a country that has struggled for a very long time with the issues of racial profiling, Joe Arpaio was the person who was taking the country back to where they were trying to get out. As many activists were struggling to eliminate cases of human discrimination, Joe Arpaio was committing them as late as the last decade.

The actions of Joe Arpaio are some of the worst that have happened in the history of the country. He put many people through hell as he was pushing the anti-immigration policy in the county. He made sure that anyone caught in the county illegally was traded in the most humiliating way the country has ever experienced. Those caught during his regime were taken through actions which amounted to human rights abuses.

It is wrong to take someone who was just living in the county without papers through beatings, torture and even causes death of some of them. These are actions that were a characteristic of his rule in the county. People were killed and tortured in concentration camps just because they were immigrants

Two journalists from the state highlighted the case of Joe Arpaio. There was Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin. The two veteran journalists and owners of media stations in the United States published reports which showed the actions which were being taken by Joe Arpaio to push out immigrants from his county.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin are currently some of the people who are vocal against the pardon which was recently handed to Joe Arpaio by President Trump.
