José Henrique Borghi is co-CEO of Mullen Lowe Brasil. He’s a very creative advertising professional with over 30 years experience in the Brazilian advertising industry. Borghi is one of the top talents in advertising in the country. He’s the force behind some of the world’s most popular advertising campaigns. The best known of these was the ‘The Mammals of Parmalat’. José Henrique Borghi also worked on ad agency campaigns for a number of major international companies. They include Electrolux, Fiat, Mitsubishi, Unilever and Ox Cosmetics. The Fiat ad campaign Jose Henrique Borghi created made him famous and the ad agency rich.
A graduate of Pontifical Catholic University, José Henrique Borghi has a degree in marketing and advertising. After graduating, Borghi was hired by Standard Ogilvy and Mather, one of the world’s top advertising firms. After leaving that ad agency, he went on to work with a number of others advertising companies including DM9/DDB, FCB, Talent and Leo Burnett. While at Leo Burnett, Borghi met Erh Ray, an extremely talented ad man. Both Borghi and Ray left Leo Burnett together and started their own ad agency called BorghiErh Creative Intelligence.
When the two advertising specialists started BorghiErh Creative Intelligence, they had a small space, limited capital and very few clients. The company quickly grew to become one of Brazil’s most prominent advertising agencies. In 2006, BorghiErh Creative Intelligence merged with Lowe and formed Borghi Lowe. At Mullen Lowe Brasil, Borgi helped attract a number of large accounts. He also supervised many of the company’s projects. Borghi’s work in the advertising industry have won numerous awards. They include Clio and Abril Awards and Cannes, London and New York Film Festival Awards.
