Since then, Sheldon Lavin has managed to transform OSI Group it to a worldwide product food supplier operational in 17 countries with over 80 facilities and 20,000 employees.

Sheldon Lavin kick-started his career at OSI Group as a consultant. In 1975, he became a partner of the company and expanded their operations into Asia, South America, and Europe. In fact, in the early 1980s, Sheldon Lavin purchased a controlling interest and took over OSI Group. Sheldon has also developed the unique culture of OSI Group where employees are treated as a global family. As a result, the company has minimal staff turnover as most employees work for the company for years. Sheldon previously worked in the financial and banking services sector.
